Barbados: Barbados Food and Rum Festival 2024 is all set to return for the ultimate foodie dream weekend which is scheduled to be held from October 24 to 27, 2024. The tickets for the booking of the spot at the festival are now available on the official tourism page.
The fringe events of the festival will also be held from October 5 to 20, 2024, aiming to enhance the food experience of the travellers. The events will kick off with Junior Chef Cook-Off competition finals on October 5, 2024, featuring exclusive and local chefs from across Barbados.
The chefs will showcase their talents and the specialties of the local cuisine with their unique culinary delights. Further, the second event will feature special talks about the culture of cuisine, aiming to enhance knowledge about the usage and experiments with the food.
The talks will shed light on the varieties of the cuisine and the products as experts will gather to showcase the making of unique dishes with different kinds of foods.
The Bajan Fair will be held on October 20, 2024, aiming to promote their rum culture which is crafted with locally grown products.
The main event of the festival will kickstart on October 24, 2024 with the activity named Oistins Under the Stars. It will shed light on the culture of Barbados with entertaining activities and launch celebration.
The second main event of the festival will be Chef Classic scheduled to be held on October 25, 2024 where authentic cuisine and other culinary delights will be showcased. Further, the Rum Route will also be held on the same day, aiming to enhance the significance of the rum.
The “Rise and Rum Breakfast Beach Party” will be held on October 26, 2024 with the showcase of the culinarians and Barbados’ authentic cuisine.
The Journey of Food Restaurant Night will be held on the same day and the last event of the festival is Liquid Gold Feats on October 27, 2024. It will entice the foodie lovers and people who love to taste different and unique cuisines.
