Bahamas: A tropical wave is likely to impact the Bahamas on Thursday and Friday night with severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. The potential of the trough will bring some sort of inclement conditions and other flooding situations.
There is some potential for a tropical depression to form this weekend across the area. It will cause severe thunderstorms, bringing flooding situation across the country.
A robust tropical wave and attendant winds will shift across the waters to the north of Puerto Rico and the entire Bahamas. The advisory has benefits issued for the flood prone areas and the people to avoid coming out in the standing water.
As per the met department, another hot day is also expected due to the ridge of high pressure. The Heavy Wave is also posing threat to the country with showers and thunderstorms spreading across the portions.

The met department noted that the heat advisory and the tropical wave both have been causing threat to Bahamas. The public are asked to remain vigilant as the threat for waterspout and funnel cloud activity increases later today.
For the southeast Bahamas, the partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are predicted due to the breezy situation with scattered showers.
A small craft advisory has also been in effect for the Bahamas with higher gusts and isolated thunderstorms.
