LIAT 2020 inaugural flight was scheduled to make a landing in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on October 4, 2024, at Argyle International Airport. The airline is celebrating its inaugural landing at St. Vincent and the Grenadines under the theme “Touch Down in Paradise.” Upon inauguration, the airline is offering exciting discounts to passengers starting from US $99 inclusive of all taxes while operating from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to six other Caribbean destinations.
In August 2024, LIAT 20 started its commercial service in collaboration with AirPeace, a Nigeria-based company. The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has invested US$20 million, whereas AirPeace has invested about US$65 million. It offers flight service three times in a week between Antigua & Barbuda, St. Lucia, and Barbados. The passengers will experience seamless air travel along with snacks and drinks on board.
The airline has already started its direct flight service from other Caribbean islands including Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, and Antigua & Barbuda. Now the citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines can avail the direct flight service at Argyle International Airport. The flight booking has started from October 1 and will run till October 30. The passengers will get exciting offers by booking flights during this period.
The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has shown enthusiasm upon the launch of LIAT 20 in the country. The launch of LIAT 20 will open several paths for citizens in the near future. Annette Mark, CEO of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA), expressed her excitement.

This new service will not only strengthen our tourism industry by providing more direct access to our islands, but it also reinforces our commitment to making SVG a premier destination in the Caribbean. We look forward to welcoming travelers who will now find it even easier to explore everything our islands have to offer,” Annette Mark added.
On the day of the inauguration, passengers were welcomed with celebrations. Cultural music, food, and dances were showcased to greet the guests in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The historic launching of LIAT 20 will bring visitors from different corners of the world. Foreign passengers will get the chance to experience Caribbean cultures.
The LIAT 2020’s service across major Caribbean destinations such as Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines opens tourism options for visitors.
