From lush hikes and cultural showcases to youth events and panel discussions, there’s no better time to experience Dominica like a tourist.
“Whether you’re hiking to Victoria Falls, joining the Youth Congress, or exploring the island with your school or community — May is packed with unforgettable activities for all,” noted Dominica Ministry of Tourism.

What is Dominica’s Tourism Awareness Month?
The Tourism Awareness Month is celebrated annually during the month of May. The main motive of the Tourism Awareness Month is to increase awareness of the tourism industry of the island. The Tourism Awareness Month also plays a significant role in fostering the economic, cultural and social contributions to the Nature Isle, Dominica.
This year, May is full of activities with Hike Fest, Community Tourism events, Public Awareness campaigns and forming partnerships.
