Air Canada has just rolled out its Winter 2025-2026 route plan which saw the launch of a new strategy that included the introduction of new services to Latin American and the Caribbean.
The airline is putting forward new routes to enhance both tourism and trade. Air Canada’s strategic growth includes direct flights out of major Canadian cities to destinations like Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena, and Guadalajara.
Also, this is a display of Air Canada’s goal to become a prominent carrier in the Canada Latin American Caribbean route. Air Canada has introduced new routes which are great for both leisure and business travelers. In addition, the airline is going beyond tourism to promote cargo growth and regional economic development.
Notably the expansion plan provides for sun vacationers, business travelers, and cultural enthusiasts. Air Canada’s plan is to not only fill planes but to also transform tourism and trade which in turn will position the company as a key player in the global travel community.
The new winter routes are from Halifax, Quebec City, Ottawa and Vancouver, to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Mexico. This will increase capacity to popular sun vacation destinations.
