Rankings Heat Up in ECCB Netball Series as Day 6 Concludes

St. Vincent and Grenadines rank first in the game as Day 6 of the ECCB International Netball Series concludes in St. Lucia.

St. Vincent and Grenadines secure first place in the ECCB International Netball Series as Day 6 concludes.

St. Vincent and Grenadines emerged as top rankers with 12 points in the ECCB International Netball Series. Out of the total six matches played by them, they have lost none and have been 88.87% accurate with their performance. 

Grenada has ranked second after the St. Vincent and Grenadines teams. They have won five matches out of six and rank second with 10 points in the game. Their strong competition and determination have brought them into this category. Meanwhile, the host country, St. Lucia, has ranked third in the tournament with 8 points by winning four matches out of six. 

Antigua and Barbados have ranked in fourth place after St. Lucia, with 6 points in their name. The team played well in the game and have both won and lost three matches respectively. Dominica stands fifth with 4 points as a team by winning two matches. Both Montserrat and Anguilla have contributed well in the game but not on the scoreboard.

The goal difference for all the teams was updated by the Caribbean Netball Association. St.Vincents and Grenadines have a goal difference of 260, along with Grenada at 202. St. Lucia has also maintained their pace by adding 155 to their name. Antigua and Barbados have dropped in the game by 29-goal difference. Meanwhile, the remaining teams have lost their goal difference negatively.

All the regional teams have performed well in the ECCB International Netball series. Though St. Vincents and Grenadines have been on top, all other teams have given tough competition to each other.

Caribbean Netball Association took to their official Facebook handle and updated the internet users about the game. Netizens have congratulated the St. Vincent and Grenadines team for their outstanding performance. They have also supported their favorite teams and have shown interest in all their upcoming matches.

This tournament has featured many newcomers in the game. The entire gameplay consisted of regional Caribbean teams who played matches against each other. The Cayman Islands was the guest team that appeared in the tournament to increase their international ranking in the match. Cayman Island made 8 points by winning four matches out of six. They made a great ranking of 78.49% by playing well.

The netball championship was kickstarted on 21 September 2024 and will end with a closing ceremony on 30 September 2024 in Saint Lucia. All the teams will gather to collect their awards and be a part of the ceremony.
