Jamaica: A shooting incident has been reported at a shop located in Steer Town, St Ann. This incident on Monday night injured one 15-year-old boy who is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
According to the reports, it was around 8:15 PM. While the boy was sitting in a shop in the Hollywood community, the motorcar stopped by outside the gaming lounge, where he was playing games along with other people his age.
As the car stopped outside the Flares Games and Sports Lounge, three men came out of the vehicle and started firing. This led to injuring the teenager’s neck and buttocks.
As the people started gathering, the suspects left the site and fled from that area immediately.
The people took the boy to the hospital, where he is still receiving treatment. The doctors have revealed that his condition is serious but stable, so he is kept under medical supervision.
The St Ann police are still investigating on the incident and have been searching for the suspects. The officials have been checking the nearby security cameras to get the developments on the case.
Also, they have been urging the locals to inform the officials if they have any information related to the case, so that the suspects can be caught. Officials also shared that if you have video or picture of the crime scene, it should be forwarded to them and the identity of the person will be kept secret.
