Dominica received three cruise calls on Monday, bringing thousands of passengers to the island nation.
The vessels including, MV Windsurf, MV Seven Seas Mariner, and Le Champlain docked at the shores of the country, brought collectively around 1000 enthusiastic passengers. All these three vessels berthed at three different ports of the country, buzzing them with excitement and entertainment.
All these passengers ventured around the island, explored the breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality of the country.
Shedding light on the arrival of vessels and thousands of passengers, the tourism authority of Dominica said, “We’re delighted to welcome the MV Windsurf, MV Seven Seas Mariner, and Le Champlain to the Nature Island today.”
The tourism authority emphasised on docking of these vessels and noted that their highlights the growth witnessed by the country in the cruise season 2024-2025. They noted that the arrival of vessels and passengers reflects the growing appeal of Dominica among international visitors.
Dominica to welcome around 12 cruise ships in the ongoing week
The Nature Isle is expecting to mark the arrival of around 12 vessels in the week from 23rd to 29th December, 2024. All these vessels are expected to bring more than 18,000 passengers to the country.
Out of all these vessels 9 of them are operated by MV Cruises Limited while the remaining from some other liners.
