Caribbean: Caribbean Airlines inaugurated its new route for the service of the flights from Trinidad to Puerto Rico on Sunday. The flights are scheduled to operate three times per week, aiming to enhance the connectivity within the Caribbean region.
The service is part of the strategy of the airline under their “Welcome Home” campaign with the flights operating on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. With the takeoff of the first flight of Caribbean Airlines on the route, both the destinations are given the chance to explore new network prospects.
During the inauguration ceremony, the passengers were greeted by the management of the airline with goody bags and other celebrations. The attendees were entertained by the talented Leandra Head, marking a celebration day for both the destinations.
Upon arrival in Puerto Rico, Caribbean Airlines received a grand welcome with the water cannon salute, showcasing the authentic culture of the country. The expansion of the network of the airline was lauded by its CEO Garvin Medera who added that the growth is due to the commitment of the team.
Caribbean Airlines has also been planning to connect the countries such as Spanish, French and English-Speaking Caribbean with each other by the end of this year. It is known as the regional airline with the air connectivity between the Caribbean destinations and other countries from across the globe.
The planning are also in place for creating a connection between Caribbean and North American Diaspora, aiming to welcome them to the home. The travel will feature leisure experience for the travellers and enhance the business of the airline.
The new route is expected to open new and convenient travel options to passengers, while providing a reliable source of travel from one place to another. It will also open doors for efficient economic growth and cultural exchange within the Caribbean region.
