Nassau, Bahamas: The Police in Bahamas have arrested a 21-year-old woman caretaker after the mother of the child complained against her after observing injuries on the infant on Thursday.
According to the information shared by police officials, the mother of the child observed injuries and bruises on the infant’s body while she picked the child from the caretaker.
It was around 5:45 PM when she noticed the injuries and promptly reported the incident to the police.
After the complaint was lodged, the child was taken to the hospital, and the reports revealed that the infant was in stable condition.
After the incident, the residents were in a rage and expressed their concerns through social media, stating that working parents trust caretakers and pay for their services, trusting them with the safety and security of their children. However, such instances raise trust issues and put a question mark on the caretaking.
Another user shared, there are several ways to discipline the child, physical abuse should never be opted.
The caretaker is currently in police custody and the officials are continuing the investigation.
