Philadelphia: Mass shooting injures seven, one critical; no arrests yet

Philadelphia: The police officials of Philadelphia reported that seven people were injured in a shooting attack.

The officials shared that the shooting incident occurred in North Philadelphia around 6:30 in the evening.

Two men and five females were injured during the shooting, including a 19-year-old boy who was shot in the back and is in critical condition and another 23-year-old man who was attacked in the buttock.

However, the woman aged 31, was shot in the hand and two women of age 47 and 29 were shot in the thigh, according to the statement issued by the police.

Also, a 16-year-old girl got wounded in the abdomen and thigh and is being treated. According to the authorities, an 18-year-old female victim was also wounded in the shooting. All the wounded victims are being treated under supervision.

According to NBC New York, the police have released a statement revealing the gunmen fired 20 shots or more toward the crowd, then left the area.

The police authorities have noted that the other six victims are in stable condition. The officials further noted, that as of now no weapons have been recovered from the scene and no arrests have been made.

The investigations are ongoing, and the officials will share the updates.
