Grand Bahamas: The Royal Bahamas Police Force is currently investigating the sudden death of an Arkansas man who passed away yesterday in The Bahamas while he was there for a vacation.
The deceased is reported to be a 69-year-old who visited the Bahamas with his family and friends for the trip. During the fun vacation, the Arkansas man and his group decided to go for snorkelling.
They decided to go to Bottle Bay in Grand Bahama for the snorkelling activity and while the 69-year-old along with his friends and family were engaging in water, he suddenly became unresponsive at around 5:00 PM yesterday.
As the family became aware of the situation, they tried giving him first aid through administering CPR and informed Emergency Medical Services. Following this, the EMS staff immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force released a statement revealing that an autopsy will be conducted to find out the actual reason behind the death, and have extended their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
