St. George’s, Grenada — The Government Information Service (GIS) of Grenada has entered into a mutual agreement with China’s Xinhua News Agency to enhance the global coverage of the national news of Grenada.
Under the terms and conditions of the memorandum of understanding, the Government Information Services (GIS) of Grenada will engage with the Chinese news agency Xinhua for wider dissemination of national news of Grenada.
GIS and the Chinese news agency will also work together to provide support to each other during official visits and coverage of national and international events.
There will be an exchange of news between the GIS and the Chinese news agency.
By enhancing the news coverage of Grenada, the GIS aims to attract more investments to the country by showcasing the investment potential of this Caribbean Nation. Besides, it will also provide a platform for Grenada that can help the nation’s voice to be heard across the globe.

While the partnership will help GIS to reach out to a larger number of audiences across the globe, it will also benefit Xinhua by establishing it as a platform which is trusted not just by the Government of China, but also of Grenada.
