St Kitts and Nevis is all set to celebrate its 14th annual World Food Day, bringing all the vendors and farmers together to showcase their diverse offerings in a Food Fair and Agricultural Exhibition on Saturday 12th October, 2024. This exciting display will celebrate local agriculture and offer a variety of delicious dishes to all the attendees at Eco Park.
This Food Fair and Agricultural Exhibition is a great opportunity for all the local businesses to showcase and sell their locally produced products and generate huge amount of revenue.
The World Food Day 2024 promises to be a celebration of fresh, locally-grown produce, varieties of mouth-watering foods and drinks, engaging agricultural exhibits, family-friendly activities and entertainment. This event has something to offer to all the attendees, making their experience insightful and unforgettable.
Some of the highlights for the citizens to celebrate on this day includes, Secondary Schools Cooking Competition, Rabbi Festival, Shark Food Products, Food Vendors, Agricultural Exhibits, GEF Small Grants Launch, Kids Zone and many more.
Not only this, the attendees will also get a great chance to enjoy the electrifying performances and dance to the tunes of the Caribbean entertainers like, Unstoppable Sounds, DJ Cut and Explosive Band.
While extending welcome to all the citizens, the Minister of Agriculture, Samal Duggins noted “Celebrate local agriculture and savor a variety of delicious dishes at Eco Park this Saturday, 12th October, 2024 starting at 12:00 p.m.”
Moreover, this SPACS Agricultural Fair and Exhibition also marks the starting of the World Food Day Week of Activities which will be celebrated under the theme “Right to foods for a better life and a better future.”
This exciting week of activities are being held by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Marine Resources St Kitts in recognition of World Food Day and highlighting the significance of agriculture and fisheries in food systems and communities.
