Prime Minister Terrance Drew made a special visit to Independence Amusement Park and greeted all the families and people of St. Kitts and Nevis there.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew visited the Amusement Park amid the post-independence Day celebrations. It was another grand celebration of Independence Day in St. Kitts and Nevis. PM Drew appreciated and greeted all the families and thanked the organizers for making the 41st Independence Day celebrations a huge success.
PM Drew enjoyed the final day of Amusement Day along with the people of St. Kitts and Nevis by dancing, taking fun rides, and meeting and greeting all the children and adults present there. PM Drew announced some grand celebrations as this year marks the 41 years of Independence of St. Kitts and Nevis from British Colonial Rule.
This year, Independence Day celebrations consisted of various fun activities. There was a round parade, National Tree Planting Day, National Colors Day, Caribbean Wellness Day & Wellness Activity, Nevis Marathon, Running Festival, and much more. All these activities significantly contributed to the unity and wellness among the citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Drew took to their official Facebook handle and updated about his presence at the Amusement Park. He shared some heartwarming pictures with his family and the people of St. Kitts and Nevis. In the post, he said, “I attended the final night of the Independence Amusement Park and was happy to see everyone, especially the families, enjoying themselves. I also joined in on the fun and tried some of the rides. A big thank you to the organizers and everyone who contributed to making this a success over the past three weeks.”

PM Drew has also called this year’s celebrations in the theme of ‘Together a people, proud and strong.’ He has talked about this initiative as a medium to highlight unity among the citizens. The celebrations started on August 28, 2024, and will continue till October 27, 2024.
These two months will consist of exciting and patriotic events, with everyone enjoying St Kitts and Nevis’s rich culture and tradition. PM Drew has expressed his happiness as the country celebrates Independence Day and enjoys their hearts out.
Prime Minister Drew also attended several celebrations such as the Round Parade, Warner Park Parade, Tribute to Soldiers, and much more. PM Drew expressed his pride in the country’s future by sharing one of his Facebook posts where he said, “Engaging with these bright stars fills me with hope and pride as we celebrate Independence 41 with the next generation, who will shape our nation’s future.”
