Roseau, Dominica: The brand-new ship- “The RUBY EXPRESS” of L’Express des Iles is all set to offer service to Dominica for visitors travelling from Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint Lucia.
The new ship was inaugurated on July 23, 2024, with an official opening ceremony and will provide service to the countries where L’Express des Iles operates. The vessel has the capacity to carry up to 428 passengers and vehicles.
The brand-new ship is the 4th in the fleet of L’Express des Iles and a high-speed catamaran 60 metres long. The ship was made with the collaboration between L’Express des Iles and FRS Group and aimed at providing services to countries across the Caribbean region.
For those seeking an extra touch of luxury, RUBY EXPRESS will provide a business-class tier with extra comfort, spacious seating, amenities and refreshments. The service will be provided to tourists from across the globe who want to visit these countries through the Caribbean Sea.
The new express ferry will also link Guadeloupe and Martinique to Dominica, offering luxurious offerings to the travellers. The ferry has two engines with 32 knots and the engines consisted of 20,000 horse power.
The ferry has 2 bars and a lounge area with duty free items where travellers will be asked to take a rest and have fun. Panoramic View and Confort+ Class will also be present in the ferry, offering true experience to the tourists from across the globe.
L’Express des Iles offers direct service to Dominica and now it will also accommodate tourists from across the globe to the World Creole Music Festival from October 25 to 27, 2024. For three days, the tourists will be invited to witness the performances of Kassav, Valiant, Nadia Batson and many more and the ferry will provide the service to them.
L’Express des Iles will also strengthen its rotations to offer direct service to Dominica. The service will provide new chance of connection through sea.
