St. Kitts and Nevis: A man named James Morton, a resident of Monkey Hill, died due to a tragic road accident on June 18th, 2024. The incident took place on George Street in Newtown, St. Kitts.
The initial investigation by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force revealed that Morton was hit by a vehicle while he was on George Street.
Emergency Medical Services immediately rushed the victim to Joseph N. France General Hospital. The medical team revealed that he had severe head injuries and was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to his critical condition.
But, due to his severe injuries, he could not recover and Morton succumbed to his injuries on June 19th, 2024.
The police have shared officials that the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
