Paris: In the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024, the swimmers from around the Caribbean region have participated and during this week they are all prepared to perform in their respective categories.
Sharing the schedule of the upcoming swimming events, the official team of Paris Olympics 2024 informed about the list of participants and also shared that the timings and dates will be according to the Atlantic Standard Time.
Irvin Hoost from Suriname will participate in (Heat 2) of Men’s 100m Freestyle that is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30 and will begin from 5:21 AM.
From St Lucia, Jayhan Odlum-Smith is participating (Heat 4) of Men’s 100m Freestyle that will also be conducted on Tuesday, July 30 at 5:27 AM.
Similarly, in the event of Men’s 100m Freestyle (Heat 5), Athlete Javier Nunez from the Dominican Republic, Jack Kirby of Barbados, and Lamar Taylor of The Bahamas will compete, and this will be on the same day and timed at 5:30 AM.
In the sporting event of Men’s 100m Freestyle (Heat 6), Mikel Schreuders of Aruba will showcase his skills at 5:33 AM.
Dylan Carter will represent Trinidad and Tobago will participate in the sporting event of Men’s 100m Freestyle (Heat 7) which will begin at the 5:36 AM.
From the Cayman Islands, Jordan Crooks will participate in a sporting event, which will be Men’s 100m Freestyle (Heat 8), that is scheduled on Tuesday, July 30, from 5:39 AM.
Later, at 6:47 AM athlete Tilly Collymore from Grenada and Aleka Persaud from Guyana will participate in Women’s 100m Freestyle (Heat 1). And in Heat 2 of Cayman Islands of Jillian Crooks at the 6:51 AM.
The day of 31 July from 5:21 AM will start with Men’s 200m Backstroke (Heat 1) and Yeziel Morales of Puerto Rico will participate in it. Afterwards, Troy Nisbett of St Kitts and Nevis will swim in Men’s 50m Freestyle (Heat 2) from August 1 from 5:18 AM.
In the similar game in Heat 4, Warren Adam Lawrence of Dominica and in Heat 5 the St Vincent and the Grenadines athlete Alex Joachim will take part. The event will be at 5:23 AM and 5:25 AM respectively.
During the Heat 6, Mikel Schreuders of Aruba will swim at the 5:27 AM slot, whereas Dylan Carter of Trinidad and Tobago will take part at the 5:32 AM slot. After that in the 5:36 AM Jordan Crooks of Cayman Islands will take over.
Following this on August 2, Jamaica’s Josh Kirlew will perform in the sporting event of Men’s 100m Butterfly (Heat 1) which will begin at 5:00 AM.
Kristen Romano of Puerto Rico will swim in Women’s 200m Individual Medley (Heat 2) which will be held at 5:18 AM.
On August 3rd, in Women’s 50m Freestyle (Heat 3), Jasmine Schofield of Dominica, Kaelyn Ciara Suryanti Djoparto of Suriname, and Maya Chouloute of Haiti will compete at 5:04 AM.
During the Women’s 50m Freestyle (Heat 7), which will be held at 5:13 AM, Sabrina Lyn of Jamaica, Rhanishka Gibbs of The Bahamas, and Chloe Farro of Aruba will swim and clinch for the title.
