Guyana: Miss Universe Guyana 2024 has officially started on Thursday with the eventful day as 11 finalists reached Marriott Hotel Georgetown. The registration, check-in, orientation, interaction and dinner have fulfilled the first day of the pageant.
Firstly, 11 finalists checked in the Guyana Marriott Hotel and registered for the pageantry. After that, the orientation of the contestants was also held in the hotel for the further proceedings and the checking process of the pageant.
Secondly, the finalists interacted with the women residents of Georgetown and spend some quality time with them at St. Bernadette’s Hotel. They also delivered essential supplies to the women and talked with about their life journey.
Following an eventful day, the Miss Universe Guyana 2024 finalists gathered for dinner with the Miss Universe Organization at the Marriott Hotel Georgetown. They enjoyed a delightful meal and had the chance to socialize with their fellow contestants.
The first official event of the pageant was Sashing Ceremony and Fashion Show which was held at Guyana Marriott Hotel on Thursday at 7: 00 pm.
Now, the second day of the pageant wil kick off with the Grand Coronation at Marriott Hotel on Friday at 7: 30 pm. All the contestants will participate and showcase their skills through different events.
The first finalists of Miss Universe Guyana 2024 is Shyla Murray who has remained Miss Bartica Universe. The second contestant is Miss Berbice Universe- Faydeha King, the third one is Miss Demerara Mahaica Universe- Katifa Lester and the fourth contestant is Imarah Radix who is Miss East Berbice Corentyne Universe.
The fifth contestant is Ariana Blaiza who is Miss Georgetown Universe, sixth contestant is Kafcia Nelson- Miss Linden Universe, seventh contestant is Miss Nabaclis Universe- Misha Caleb and the eighth contestant is Ashley Camerson- Miss New Amsterdam Universe.
The nine contestant is Miss Skeldon Universe Indranie Codrington, tenth contestant is Farah Sattaur- Miss Uitvlugt Universe and the last finalist of the pageant is Jawane Marshall- Miss La Parfaite Harmonie Universe.
