Antigua and Barbuda Falcon raises their flag of victory over St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots in yet another match of CPL. The amazing partnership of the players and the undefeated bond of their understanding took them to the highest place.
The Patriots challenged the Falcons with a massive target of 154. Falcons welcomed the challenge with open hands by defeating them with a score of 154/8. It was a happy and proud moment for the fans of Antigua and Barbuda Falcons when the team stood up with victory in just their second match of the tournament.
St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots placed a score of 153-8 in front of the Falcons from 20 overs. Mikyle Louis topped with a 63 score, followed by Wanindua Hasaranga 23, Kyle Mayers 22, Rilee Rossouw 20, Mohammad Amir 3-27, Imad Wasim 2-24, and Fabian Allen 2-44.
On the other hand, the Falcons scored 154-8 from 19.4 overs, where Justin Greaves stood first with 30 runs, Brandon King 29, Kofi James 20, Sam Billings 18, Imad Wasim 17, Roshon Primus 15, Fabian Allen 13; Wanindu Hasaranga 4-16, Anrich Nortje 3-35.
Both teams gave their best on the field by playing seamlessly and confidently. Mikyle Louis of the Patriots played exceptionally well by scoring the highest point of 63. It was a great moment in the entire match. Overall, The efforts portrayed by each and every player in the match deserve appreciation, irrespective of the match results.
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons got their spot sealed at 3rd place in the score table after the victory. Meanwhile, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots continue to remain at the bottom of the table after five continuous defeats in the matches. Both the teams played well, but the cons kept the Falcon’s hand upper by winning their entry levels.
After this amazing match, both the teams remained in an equal match spot by playing six matches respectively in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have a total of eight matches left of their tournament, whereas St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots will finish up after completing their four more matches in the tournament.
