Grenada: Canada’s Minister of International Development, Ahmed Hussen, will visit Grenada to attend the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) 47th Heads of Government Meeting, which will be held from 28 June to 30 June.
Apart from attending the meeting, Minister Hussen will also visit the Gouyave Fish Processing Facility on July 29 at 2:15 PM. This is a Canada-funded project of COMPETE Caribbean.
Following the project site visit, Canadian Minister Hussen will tour St. Patrick Parish to evaluate the impact of Hurricane Beryl. He will also be accompanied by representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the FAO, and the Red Cross during the site visit.
Minister Hussen will also be accompanied by Lilian Chatterjee, High Commissioner of Canada, on his inaugural visit to Grenada and will participate in the site visits.
