Barbados: The Barbados Revenue Authority has reminded all property owners to pay their land tax bills for the 2024-25 year till June 29, 2024, and get a 5% discount on it.
The discount of 5% will be applicable to every person who visits Barbados Revenue Authority payment centres and makes in-person payments.
To get the benefit, the property owners can visit at any of the payment centres including, Holetown Public Centre, Warrens Tower II (2nd floor), Pine, Bridge Street Mall at Bridgetown, Weymouth Corporate Centre (drop box only) and Southern Plaza at Oistins.
The payment can be done at all Surepay locations as well.
The taxpayers willing to pay the tax at the convenience of their homes can pay it online and take advantage of a 10% discount until July 15, 2024.
The property owners willing to pay online can visit the BRA Land Tax Portal that is bra.gov.bb, and go to the ‘Land & Property’ section of the portal to register (in case it is first time) or login (if already registered) to the portal.
Using the online facility taxpayers can access their Land Tax Bills and directly pay the authority by using a credit or debit card.
