The Antigua and Barbuda meteorological department has issued the warning of an overactive 2025 Hurricane Season. The Antiguan meteorologist Dale Destin has shared that the season may be one of the most intense in the decade.
The meteorology department has shared that the season may be super hyperactive. There is a 52 percent chance that the activity of the season will put it in the 10% of the most active hurricane seasons of all time.
The meteorology expert has shared that they have identified 20 named storms. Of this number,10 hurricanes have been predicted, and 5 of them have chances of turning into major hurricanes.
The official statistics suggest that there is a whooping 82% chance of the 2025 Transport Atlantic Hurricane Season to be hyperactive. 4% chance has been assigned to the fact that the season may be below active.
Meteorologist Dale Destin has shared that there is 55% chance of the season seeing 19 named storms and 42% chances of 6 major hurricanes.
