Nevis: Premier Mark Brantley received a special pencil as a gift from a set of children who were on a field trip to the Hamilton Museum in Charlestown. He interacted with children and talked about the significance of the museum during their tour.
Brantley expressed pleasure in witnessing the smiles on the faces of the children and called them a bright future of Nevis. He said, ”I continue to be impressed with our youth and I am persuaded that our future in Nevis is exceedingly bright.”
He wished the best for the children and said that may they continue to focus on their goals and enhance their lives with success and education. Premier Brantley extended huge thanks to teacher Sampson who accompanied them.
The pencil he received from children has been crafted with special letters and wordings. “Everything will be alright,” was written on the pencil on which, Premier Brantley lauded the positive mindset of the children.
He talked to them and encouraged them for their education and its significance for their bright future. Premier Brantley added that the students must learn new things in their life and such educational trips will enhance their experience towards their learning process.
The Hamilton Museum was built in the recognition of the national hero Alexander Hamilton and Premier added that the space is the significant for the children. He said that the students should be aware of the culture and tradition of Nevis and must promote their roots at the global stage as well.
The small interaction between Premier and the students have turned into the valuable and productive talks where he also shared his experience of the education. The students also discussed about their studies and asked about the museum through questions to Brantley.
Charlestown is the capital of Nevis, the smaller island in the nation of St Kitts and Nevis. This was the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton; they have a nice museum that explains the history of Nevis on the grounds of the house where Hamilton was born.
