Popular Kenyan Youtuber African Tigress enjoys “Nevis Mango Festival”; savours culinary delights

Nevis: A popular Kenyan Youtuber African Tigress recently enjoyed the “Nevis Mango Festival” and created a special video about the different offerings of the festival under the title- “What’s Happening in St Kitts and Nevis.”  

With 298k subscribers on Youtube, she introduced the most anticipated culinary event of Nevis to her international followers. She documented her experience of being a part of the festivities and added that the event celebrates the versatility of the most priced fruit of the island nation. 

She tasted different varieties of mangoes and talked to the revellers who were also enjoying the culinary celebration. Youtuber showcased what Nevis looks like on weekends and said that everybody has put their best food forward on their stalls.

Kenyan Youtuber also tasted the beef Samosas cooked by Kenyan Chef and Culinary enthusiast Carolyn Joseph and get more information about the Nevis Mango Festival and its significance. She also admired people who were having fun in the festival and added that they were dressed nicely in the sunny day with their colourful and vibrant dresses.  

African Tigress further talked with Kenyan-based Chef Joseph, who has been working and living in Nevis for the last 6 years. From her stall, she tasted the mango sauce and asked about the different varieties of mangoes.  

Kenyan based chef outlined about her restaurant named Rams’ Food Court which runs from 11: 00 am to 8: 00 pm from Monday and Saturday. The chef praised Nevis and said that the environment here is warm due to the warmth of their people.  

Besides this, she also roamed around several other stalls and tasted the drinks which were mango-flavoured. She tried smoothies, food items and other culinary delights that are uniquely created with the use of Mango.

African Tigress interacted in talks with Mr Kool contestant who described several mango dishes to her. Mr Kool added that he attended the festival and introduced the Youtuber with mango ice-creams, smotiies, and milkshakes.  

Meanwhile, she also lauded the Heritage Village, the competition area and enjoy the Nevisian music. She also watched the mystery basket game in which the chefs from all around the world were competing.  

Youtuber was excited to be part of the competition and said that the chefs used their creativity to prepare something that was judged.  

The youtuber highlighted that her experience of the Nevis Mango festival was unforgettable, she enjoyed being a part of the culinary adventure and sharing her experience with her audience to the fullest.  

She noted,” This event invites you to indulge in the sweet and juicy flavors of Nevis mangoes, and to immerse yourself in a variety of events that showcase all things mango.”  

The youtuber cited that the event featured everything from tantalizing mango tasting to thrilling culinary and mixology competitions, talented chefs showcase their creativity by infusing mangoes into every dish and cocktail. 

She said that the culinary competition offers a unique experience that celebrates the versatility of this incredible fruit with dishes that were made with decadent mango desserts.  

With several Kenyans on Nevis, it was outlined that the 10th edition of Nevis Mango Festival has become international event.
