Kim Kardashian returns to the music biz after thirteen (13) years in cover of the famous Christmas song ‘Santa Baby’, featuring American actor Macaulay Culkin.
The song was originally sung by American singer Taylor Swift in October 2007, and was released as the third track for her debut EP: “Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection.”
Kim Kardashian’s version of the song brought some mixed reviews with some praising her for her vocal performance while others criticized her for remodeling the classic original.
The cover song also voiced a short video in the form of a film which was directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis, and was produced by Travis Barker.
Return of Kim Kardashian to music industry
The famous American artist and music maker released her very first solo song in 2011, Jam (Turn It Up), which was written by Tricky Stewart and The Dream.
The song was at first premiered on the family TV show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, after which it was released to be streamed on iTunes.
Kardashian was also part of the music video directed by Hype Williams, with a small cameo of Kanye West, her then partner.
Jam was heavily criticized by netizens and critics following which Kardashian never came out to record or release another solo.
Now, after more than a decade, she made her comeback in the music industry with the remake of the song Santa Baby, which despite being criticized, is receiving positive attention from the fans.

Fans have a much more positive review this time, praising her look, voice, and talent, than they did for her first and only song, Jam.
