One of the coaches, Anson Ambrose, while talking to a local media channel, shared that it was not an easy journey for the athletes as they landed after a tedious journey of long travel, different sleep schedules, and new eating habits were adopted by them.
He said they were taught that “we didn’t come here to participate, we came to compete and we competed and we did our best.”
Appreciating the young players he stated that nothing comes easy, if it is easy then the players would not value it. He mentioned that the goals they envisioned had been fulfilled, and they are happy to represent their country and make it champions.
