Nevis: St Clair Rawlins and Kadedra Lewis was crowned as the Mr Kool 2024 and Ms Culture Swimwear 2024 respectively on Sunday. The pageant was held Cultural Complex as part of the event of the 50th anniversary celebration of Nevis Culturama Festival 2024.
St Clair Rawlins who represented Nevis Cultural Development Foundation won the pageant with 831 points. He was crowned as Mr Kool 2024 by Premier of Nevis- Mark Brantley on Sunday night where hundreds of patrons gathered to spend time at Culturama Festival.
Eliesel Dorset was the first runner up of the contest as he received 778 points and represented Nevis Tourism Authority. The second runner up was Devonte’ Liburd from Department of Agriculture of Nevis who received 720 points in the pageant.
In the Miss Culture Swimwear Contest, Kadedra Lewis who represented First Federal Credit Union won the title by receiving 840 points. While, Nangela Semple was the first runner up of the pageant with 801 points and she represented Carib Jack.
Shaquoya Flanders who represented Caribbean Digital Displays was the second runner up of pageant and she received 781 points.
A total of five contestants have participated in Mr Kool contest which included: Eliesel Dorset from Nevis Tourism Authority, Akedo Nisbett from Nevis Water Department, St Clair Rawlins from Nevis Cultural Development Foundation, Devonte’ Liburd from Department of Agriculture and Devonte Richards from Nevis Culturama Committee.
Further, the contestants of Miss Culture Swimwear Contest were Shaleize Smitten from Ms Zanzi Bar of Nevis, Kadedra Lewis was Ms First Federal Credit Union, Shaquoya Flanders was Ms Caribbean Digital Displays, Nangela Sample who was Ms Carib Jack and Belinda Clarke who was Miss Caribbean Lottery.
The audience was entertained by the performers such as DJ Sumdge, SG Prezidential and DJ Woodis. The entry ticket for the general slot was $50, for the gate, the price was $60 and for the VIP, the ticket price was $400.
