Nevis: Six Charter flights touched down at Vance W. Amory International Airport for the much-anticipated Nevis Culturama Festival 2024. The private jets arrived during rush hour on Saturday and parked at the airport for the celebration of the exclusive festival of the island nation.
The two birds called BN2 Islander from Anguilla Air Services were parked right under the Control Tower and provided direct service to Nevis. The left space of the International Airport was covered by the Trislander and BN2 Islander with another company named BN2 Islander bird.
Besides this, the Cape Air Cessna 402 also landed at Vance Amory International Airport and provided direct access to Nevis Culturama Festival 2024.
The Britten-Norman Trislander by Anguilla Air Service touched down in Nevis and graced the shores of the festival. The rare glimpses of the charter flights gone viral on the social media on which the citizens and netizens reacted optimistically and noted that the airport has been growing with the surge in the number of the arrival of the birds.
Transe Anguilla Airways Cessna 402 (VP-ALS) touched down in Nevis during a heavy downpour of rain and inclement weather conditions. The landing has remained safe and secure with efficient work from the pilot and authorities at the airport.
The most exclusive Nevis Culturama Festival 2024 is all set to kickoff on July 25 as this year will be celebrated as the 50th anniversary of the festival under the theme- “Celebrating Culture, Embracing History, It’s Culturama 50.”
The fringe activities have started on July 4, 2024 in Nevis, featuring exclusive showcase of the Nevis culture, art and music. With the Mango Festival, the culturama celebrated the cuisine offerings of the country and skill show has crafted unique culinary delights with mango.
The main events will kickstart with the official opening ceremony at the Cultural Village and the celebration of the Culturama Golden Jubilee Awards will be held.
The tourists from across the globe including VIPs, VVIPs and others have started coming to Nevis for the culturama celebration as six charter flights provided influx of the tourism.
This year, Culturama will mark its 50th anniversary and the events have been lineup up in fully-packed scheduled that will capture every facet of Nevisian art and culture. It will feature poetry nights, thrilling games, craft and food fairs, pageants, street parades and lots of dancing.
The tourists from across the globe will explore the hotspot destinations of Nevis including Cultural Village and celebrate the culture at Vanilla Parade to join great ambience.
