St Kitts and Nevis: A total of 1133 passengers arrived onboard British Airways at Robert L Bradshaw International Airport in the month of June 2024. The Ministry of Tourism announced that this is the significant hike in the arrival of the passengers at St Kitts and Nevis.
British Airways offers direct service to St Kitts and Nevis for enhancing the connectivity in the Caribbean region. Earlier, the service operated for two days on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the island nation.
In the month of April 2024, the airline announced a change to its airlift schedule for flights to the island nation. The changes came into effect immediately as the airline will operate the service to St Kitts and Nevis on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
British Airways and St Kitts and Nevis enjoy direct air service connectivity with the flight service from Gatwick to the island nation. It provided British Airways with a chance to enhance their travel experience through their vacations at the island nation of the Caribbean region.
The arrival of the passengers in St Kitts and Nevis offers ample opportunities to market and promote the federation to various travel advisors, tour operators and media. Minister of Tourism- Marsha Henderson lauded the stakeholders and her team for their work in enhancing the footprints of St Kitts and Nevis among the tourists from across the globe.
In December 2020, the British Airways suspended flights for the UK travellers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the airline further resumed their operations in 2021 after the removal of the restrictions on the British travellers.
