Kentucky: A tornado hit the central remote area of Kentucky yesterday injuring 14 people and leaving one dead, hours after the National Weather Service issued a warning for the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia on Friday, as reported by the officials.
Andy Beshear, the current governor of Kentucky also wrote on his social media about the severe weather in Washington County. Informing about the fourteen people injured who are undergoing their treatments.
The information came out that 2 adults and one child are still being treated at the UK Hospital and one adult is having his treatment at the Danville’s Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Centre, whereas 10 others have been released of those 14.
“This level of severe weather was unexpected, with a system still moving through the state,” Beshear wrote. “We also expect to see additional storms today with Eastern and Southeastern Kentucky facing a greater risk of severe weather, please be alert and stay safe.”
The tornado warnings are still engaging on everyday bases by the National Weather Service surveyors, the last Thursday afternoon tornado near the Atlanta was reported with the top speed estimated to be at 135 mph.
As the risk of tornadoes is rising the Emergency Management services of the affected areas and the state police departments along with disaster control departments are giving their best so that no man could lose their life and all the people are safe.
