On 15th September, the National Service of Gratitude & Gospel concert was held at Warner Park stadium. The ceremony was attended by Governor-General Dame Marcella Liburd, Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew, Federal Cabinet members, members of the general public, and clergy members.

The individuals across the nation thanked the almighty for their grace and mercy upon the country for 41 years. The members stood up for scripture reading, praised god for guiding the nation, and prayed to continue his mercy upon the country. The individuals in the ceremony pledged to give god the place of Honour.

The performance of musical bands for the 41st Independence Day followed the scripture reading and the oath-taking ceremony. The people wished the nation to prosper and follow the path of wisdom. The members present at the stadium urged everyone to contribute their service towards the betterment of society and the country.

They are looking forward to the leadership that may cultivate growth and development that will benefit the people of every village and town. The nation is looking forward to a leader being efficient enough to address the needs and requirements of the community.

The people prayed to god to look upon the country’s judicial system. They prayed for the judges and lawyers to deliver appropriate justice to its people. They quoted, “Oh god, uphold the laws for our nation. May they operate in impartiality.”

The prayer continues with giving wisdom to police forces, lawmakers, defense forces, teachers, and health workers as they carry their profession with honesty and dedication. Their heart must be compassionate enough to serve the nation. “May the lord bless their efforts to keep our society functioning smoothly and peacefully,” later added to the prayer.

Despite the differences, the political leaders should work together to create a better society. Leaders must prioritize the need of the nation rather than their personal needs. On the 41st Independence Day occasion, people thanked the almighty for showering his wisdom and blessings on them. Individuals prayed to the lord for strength and courage to walk on god’s path and be the light in this world.
