St. Kitts and Nevis: In an effort to boost football development and community engagement in the country, the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association has announced the completion of two brand-new FIFA Mini Arenas in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has reaffirmed its commitment to youth sports development as it unveils two new FIFA Mini Arenas—one in St. Kitts and one in Nevis—aimed at promoting and boosting football to young players by giving them access to safe, inclusive and state-of-the-art facilities.
According to SKNFA, the mini arenas were built in cooperation with FIFA. Moreover, the Ministry of Sports partnered with the SKNFA to support the initiative and ensure the project is executed effectively.
With the new arenas, the Football Association aims to inspire and nurture current and future football talent in the country. The Association shared that its aim is not only to promote the sport to the youth in the country, but also to provide safe environments for all kids. According to the organisation, safety remains its top priority as it continues to drive football development nationwide.
“These aren’t just pitches; they are safe, inclusive spaces designed for children to play, learn, and thrive. We’re providing secure environments where kids feel protected, and parents feel at peace,” shared the Football Association, adding that, “Better facilities mean a brighter future for football across both islands.”
The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association shared the announcement yesterday on their official Facebook page. In their post, the organisation shared picture highlights of the new arenas and captioned it as: Big news for football in the Federation.
SKNFA has also thanked the Sports Ministry for their role in the project’s development. The Association shared, “A massive thank you to the Ministry of Sports (Nevis) for their incredible partnership in delivering our first major football project on the island of Nevis! We couldn’t have done it without your support. Let’s keep building. Country Above Self!”
