Nevis: A group of ladies have been gathered with Premier Mark Brantley at the Four Seasons Resort for a Retreat on Saturday during the Nevis Culturama Festival 2024. These African American travellers were hosted by the tourism authority with the intent to enhance relationships with foreigners.
The delegation of the ladies was led by Atoya Burleson and these ladies are married to the current or former players of the National Football League (NFL). Premier Mark Brantley expressed pleasure in hosting these ladies and enhance their long relationships with them and the NFL.
The ladies lauded the offerings of Nevis and expressed delight in savouring the culinary delights during the Nevis Culturama Festival 2024. They have been promoting the island on their various platforms and their cultural showcase.
Premier Brantley extended greetings to the ladies and look forward to connecting with them again in the future for better partnerships. He added,” They absolutely love Nevis and have been active promoting the island on their various platforms. We warmly welcome them to Nevis and look forward to a long relationship with them and the NFL.”
The visit has come at the time of the Nevis Culturama Festival 2024 which was kicked off on Thursday with the official opening ceremony and golden jubilee award ceremony. As the event is celebrating 50th anniversary of its establishment, the country has been hosting the diverse range of events and activities to attract the tourists from across the globe.
The Culturama was established to promote the culture and heritage of Nevis and bring the tourist from across the globe to connect with the island nation through unique style of music, dance and celebration events.
Every year, thousands of tourists visit Nevis to spend holiday time, vacations and outing during the Culturama Festival 2024 in which the streets of the communities filled with colourful vibes and patrons who wore attires that signify culture of Nevis.
Several events such as Herbert’s Beach Affairs, Panorama Contest and Culturama 50 Pay-Per-View will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Culturama in the coming days.
