The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew exchanged significant dialogues with the Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair, aiming to lead the country towards growth and development.
As per the details, the Former Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Tony Blair reached the Federation on Tuesday, 26th November, 2024.
Sharing the highlights of their meeting on his official Facebook account, PM Terrance Drew said, “It was a pleasure to welcome Sir Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and founder of Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, to our Federation as my guest.”
Highlighting about several high-level meetings conducted between delegates, PM Drew said that all these discussions held between them will play a crucial role for the advancement of the island nation. He also expressed his desire of collaborating with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
He said that this collaboration with the institute would play a major role in bringing progress in the island nation. The Prime Minister said that such meetings shed light on their vision to enhance the growth and development in the country.
The Minister of Public Infrastructure, Konris G Maynard shared the pictures with Tony Blair on his social media. Shedding light on his visit, Minister Maynard said that this meeting is a great opportunity for them to advance healthy and positive discussions on a potential partnership with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI).
Minister Maynard said that such kind of partnership have the potential to enhance their efforts in realizing key priorities under the Sustainable Island State Agenda.
He further aimed at continuing to make efforts to bring crucial growth in the areas of Citizen Security, Digital Transformation, and Civil Service Transformation.
The Minister said that these discussions will play a significant role in helping them to strengthen their capacity to drive action, adopt innovative strategies, and deliver meaningful results for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.
He further shed light on the commitment of the Labour Party of St Kitts and Nevis and aimed to continue to make efforts with a vision to build a brighter and sustainable future for all.
