St Kitts and Nevis: New Jumbotron and lighting infrastructure have been installed at the Warner Park in St Kitts and Nevis. The significant renovation at the park is underway due to the upcoming Caribbean Premier League.
Samal Duggins- Minister of Sports of St Kitts and Nevis unveiled the renovations and said that the improvements at the park have been taking place for the Caribbean Premier League 2024. The enhancement aimed to enhance the experience of the sports people and provide modern facilities for both players and fans.
The local experts and workers have installed these upgrades in Warner Park, showcasing the exceptional talent within the community. The project is underway to elevates the sporting facilitate and provide valuable employment opportunities to the local citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.
Besides this, Warner Park will also be beneficial for enhancing sporting tourism, aiming to enhance local economic growth and development. St Kitts and Nevis is all set to host several matches of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 at the Warner Park as the tournament will kick off on August 29, 2024, and will run through October 6, 2024.
The first match will be held between St Kitts Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders at St Kitts on August 31, 2024. The second match for Warner Park will be held between St Kitts Nevis Patriots and Saint Lucia Kings on September 1, 2024.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Guyana Amazon Warriors will face each other in the CPL match on September 4, 2024, at Warner Park.
On September 6, 2024, the match will be held between St Kitts Nevis Patriots and Barbados Royals at Warner Park. The next match for St Kitts is scheduled to be held on September 8, 20234 between SKNP and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
St Kitts and Nevis will host five matches of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 which is considered as the biggest tournament of the cricket in the Caribbean region.
