Jamaica: American and Nigerian content creators Ling and Lamb have returned to Jamaica for a second, and more extensive tour. The couple was spotted at the Reggae Sumfest Street Dance at Catherine Hall on Monday night.
Yinka Lawso, who goes by his stage name Lamboginny, performed his single, “God is not Done”, for the crowd and captivates the audience with his beats. The couple was also seen enjoying and embracing the offerings of Jamaica by interacting with the local community.
Reggae Sumfest has kickstarted in Jamaica on July 14, 2024, under the theme- “Our Music, Our Festival, Our Culture.” With the week of diverse range of activities, the first three days of the festival filled the crowd with energy and set the perfect culmination of music legends such as Barrington Levy, Beres Hammond, Freddie Mc Gregor and Sizzla.
The dancehall vibes and electric atmosphere in Monday’s Street dance kept the audience enthralled all night long. The stage shows on Friday and Saturday outlined the true taste of the Sumfest experience, offering high energy to the crowd.
The guest performance from Laden has made the audience groove on his beat with the hits such as “Time to Shine,” “Really Like You,” and “Working Hard.”
Three days of the festival have also garnered the huge number of the tourists from across the globe, displaying perfect heritage of Jamaica.
Events from July 18 to 20, 2024
The Jamaica Rum Festival will be the feature event of Reggae Sumfest which is scheduled to take place on June 18, 2024, from 1 pm to 2 am at Catherine Hall Sports Complex, Montego Bay. The live performance of Beenie Man as Moses Davis will entertain the audience and enhance their experience of Rum.
Besides this, the Run Seminars, Run Tastings, Artisan Village and Food Court will also be available at the festival. DJ Ashile will also give his exclusive performance at the stage of the festival.
The participants will have to pay US$80 for a ticket before the festival and US$100 is decided for the people who will gather at the gate.
On July 19, 2024, the captivating artistes have been lined up such s Jada Kingdom, Teejay, Valiant, Malie Down, and Capleton. DJ Ashile will be the feature artiste from July 19 to 20, 2024.
On July 20, 2024, the music of the Babyface, Anthony B, Ras, Sevana, Christopher Elus and Migy Boy will take the centre stage and entertain the audience. The vibe across the island will be filled with pure dancehall, and enhance the experience of the crowd.
