Ishona, who normally throws over 8 meters, will seek a record-breaking performance to get herself within the list and secure the top position. Her positive attitude set her apart, making her a role model for young athletes.
Tyler Smith’s participation will also be observed. Tyler Smith, the bronze medalist in the 2023 Junior Commonwealth Games, will enter the Men’s Shot Put F63 arena on September 7. His presence is something to look forward to his impressive performance. Since arriving in Paris over a week ago, Ishona and Tyler have trained for their events under the watchful eyes of their coach, Bassanio Nicholas.
On 6th September, Ishona’s second challenge of equal importance will be in the women’s javelin F46. It will be Tyler Smith’s turn in the men’s discus on Saturday. The nation celebrates young athletes, and it’s important to note that China has been leading the medal table. After six days of competing, China dominated the medal table and won 87 medals, comprising 43 gold, 30 silver, and 14 bronze. Great Britain is second in the medal table, with 54 medals: 29 golds, 15 silvers, and 10 bronze. The United States follows in third place with 42 medals: 13 gold, 19 silver, and ten bronze.
