GHA is offering scholarships to secondary and tertiary level students with stipends of US$500 for the upcoming academic year.

The Grenada Houston Association (GHA) is offering scholarships to support students of secondary and tertiary levels who are studying in fields associated with science, agriculture, and other interdisciplinary areas. The scholarship is available for the academic year 2024–2025.

Each successful applicant fulfilling eligibility criteria will be awarded US$500 for the academic year.  Therefore, the GHA has released the eligibility criteria for students who wish to avail the scholarship. The eligibility criteria say the applicant must be a student of secondary or tertiary level. Registration must be done as a full-time student. The student must address the need for a scholarship. For tertiary-level students, the association asks for a defined career goal for which they are applying for this scholarship.

A complete application procedure form must contain a handwritten essay of 250 to 300 words that explains the details of the career goal of the applicant. The student must obtain two reference letters from the current teacher and former teacher. Copies of the student’s progress report or certificate should be added to the application form.

The Grenada House Association advised applicants to obtain the complete application form from the link:

The application forms will not be accepted after the 30th of November. It is advised to properly scan the documents and email the application to ebarry220@att.net and hrd@moe.edu.gd.

Grenada Houston Association (GHA) was founded in 2005. The primary purpose of the association is to provide financial assistance to deserving candidates. Truthful to its purpose, the association has been supporting talented students with different scholarships for more than a decade. Till now, more than 100 students have benefited from the scholarships.

The government of Grenada, in association with the Government of Morocco, offered undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships for Grenadian students. The scholarship was offered for the 2024-2025 academic year. The monthly stipend of 1750 Moroccan Dirhams (approximately equal to US$175) is also declared for students based on eligibility.

Now Grenada is offering several other educational scholarships that are available for the students. Education Future International scholarship, Service Scape scholarship, Go Global MBA scholarship, and Dream Chaser scholarships are now open to apply. Interested candidates are advised to apply for the scholarships. The stipend ranges from US$775 to US$25000.

The Grenada Houston Association along with the government of Grenada, is assisting students as well as parents who are not financially well. The deserving candidates are getting the benefits of education without worrying about money.

For further information and guidance applicants are advised to contact the Human Resource Development Division (Scholarship Desk) at the Ministry of Education on telephone number (473) 440-2737/8 or (473) 417-9762.
