Athletes will represent Jamaica and various other Caribbean regions at the 2025 Wanda Diamond League season on Friday, May 16. The tournament is set to be hosted at the Qatar Sports Club in Doha, Qatar.
Wanda Diamond League season will be premiered live on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube channel and will be broadcasted throughout the world. This year marks the 16th season of this annual series.
It is an outdoor track and field event, organized by World Athletics. A total of 45 Olympic and world championship medallists will be in action at the Wanda Diamond League.
One of the most looked-out athletes at the league will be the Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. She has 25 victories and five series titles. Shelly-Ann will be competing in the 100m against Mujinga Kambundji and compatriots Natasha Morrison, and Tia and Tina Clayton.
Other than Shelly-Ann, Botswana sprint star Letsile Tebogo will also compete in the 100m men’s race. He was also an Olympic champion and is eyeing his first Diamond League win this year.
