This crucial knock by Matthews played a significant role in chasing down the target and defeating India Women by 9 wickets with more than 4 overs to spare.
The match began with West Indies Women winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. The Indian women team failed to create a major impact with their batting except the Captain Smriti Mandhana who scored 62 runs in 41 balls, which contained 9 fours and 1 six.
Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma also contributed significant runs for their team to drag the score near to the 160 mark.
