Following a report by the locals, the police launched an investigation, which led to the discovery of a 19 year old’s lifeless body near Damian Bay #1 in Lower Blanchisseuse, Trinidad and Tobago. The shocking discovery has sent waves of outrage and sadness across the community.
About the victim
The deceased has been identified as Amando Kenneth, who was of African descent, with a medium build and approximately 5 ‘6 in height. He had distinctive features, including an afro hairstyle and dark brown complexion.
At the time of discovery, Kenneth was shirtless and only wearing a pair of blue jeans, with notable tattoos on his body, including the phrase ‘Stay paranoid trust no one’ on his left abdomen and his name ‘Amando’ on his arm.
Initial Investigation
On February 6th, 2025, at around 12:15 pm, police received a report of a dead body and subsequently found a one upon investigation, about 200 feet upstream from Damian Bay.
The victim had his hands tied behind his back and his head severed and placed next to his body. As of now, no critical evidence has been uncovered.
History of past crimes
According to the police reports, the victim had a history of legal troubles, including jail time in Santa Cruz and Tobago districts.
He was also a suspect in the recent murders in Toco district, and had a record of firearms, robbery, and narcotics offenses.
Although police suspect Kenneth’s murder may be tied to gang or drug activity, they have not found conclusive evidence to support this speculation.
Locals claim that Kenneth was a murder suspect who had smuggled drugs without paying for them.
