Barbados: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has shared an invitation for the first-ever event related to fitness. It is named “Get Fit Friday” which has been scheduled for next Friday, July 12, 2024, with an aim to promote fitness among the residents of Barbados.
This event, which will allow the audience to exercise in the form of dance, will be held at the National Insurance and Social Security Service (NISSS) parking lot. The event will start at 5:30 in the evening.
The event will be hosted by Dr. Michelle Bryan of DanceFit, the venture that is conducting the event.
Dr. Bryan, the founder and lead instructor of Dancefit, shared the information regarding the event and stated, “Dance is liberating! Dance is expressive! Dance is freedom! Dance can also help you to burn some calories. This is DanceFit.”
The aim of this event is to improve the cardiovascular health of the residents of Barbados. So, to encourage more people to join in and learn about fitness while enjoying this event is set to provide all.
This event is open to all age groups and free of cost for the members of staff and the public of Barbados to be part of it.
