The booth named Absolutely Caribbean will present the regional innovative and sustainable products at the SIAL Paris 2024. Twenty-six eco-conscious Caribbean businesses and innovative regional brands are going to represent the region at the event in the event from 19 October to 23 October.
SIAL Paris 2024 is considered the world’s biggest food tradeshow, which is attended by many stakeholders, business entities, and entrepreneurs from around the globe. The intention of hosting this event is to provide a common platform to producers, distributors, and global buyers for potential partnerships.
The Caribbean brands are also looking forward to displaying their fresh and exciting sustainable products at SIAL Paris 2024. the focus will be also on exploring potential new export opportunities with global partners while representing the Caribbean.
The Absolutely Caribbean booth at the event took shape after the collaboration of the European Union and the Caribbean Export Development Agency, along with regional companies. The prime focus is on the food industry, which is aligned with the agenda of the event.
The visitors will explore the Caribbean flavours, flair, and innovation, which is expected to set a new big trend in the food industry. At SIAL Paris 2024, global investors will come in connection with the individual businesses and the trade promotion organisations of Caribbean nations like Saint Lucia, Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The regional businesses chosen to represent the region with the Absolutely Caribbean booth are due to their strong commitment to ethical manufacturing practices and sustainable processes. Their products were also the reason that represent unmatched access to local and organic ingredients of the Caribbean.
The Manager (AG) for Competitiveness and Export Development at the Caribbean Export Development Agency, Natasha Edwin Walcott, shared views on the region’s representation at SIAL Paris 2024.
