St Vincent and the Grenadines: The Tevin Goodride Dasliva become the first Vincentian to pilot the flight of American Airlines and made it landed at Argyle International Airport on Wednesday. He was welcomed by the government officials for scripting history in the airlift sector.
With this flight, he became the first pilot of St Vincent and the Grenadines to fly American Airlines. His achievement was celebrated at the international airport as Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves and other officials extended him a warm welcome upon his arrival.
The first officials also received the gifts with the token of appreciation so that the historic moment could be remembered. He has also been lauded by Minister of Tourism- Dr Resa Mc Barnett and other officials as the welcome ceremony was attended by his family as well.
Dasliva outlined that he got to know about his appointment a month ago due to which he made a bid to make the trip. Notably, he landed with American Airlines on Wednesday and during his returning flight, he was accompanied by his mom and his little sister.
The entire nation celebrated the achievement of Tevin Dasliva and poured warm wishes for scripting history for St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Argyle International Airport also wished him best for his carrier and said that the airport celebrated his success on being the first male to American Airlines into St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Netizens also reacted to his achievement and extended congratulations for becoming the first male to fly American Airlines. One added, ”Congratulations Young Man, it was an exceptional experience for us to witness one of our people to fly American Airlines.”
Another added, ”It is great to see the success of the person who belongs to us as history is scripted. It is a proud moment for all of us. We are happy for you man.”
