Tallahassee— Having stood out in areas of culinary, yachting, events, and chef of the year, the United States Virgin Islands (USVIs) has won the top honors in the four categories of the 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards that have been announced recently.
These categories include the Caribbean Culinary Destination (St. Croix), Caribbean Yachting Destination of the Year, Event Destination of the Year, and Chef David ‘Benji’ Benjamin as Caribbean Chef of the Year.
St. Croix has been recognized as the Caribbean Culinary Destination of the Year. By offering a diverse culinary experience to visitors, St. Croix has been recognized as the best culinary destination by the 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards.
Various hotels and restaurants in St. Croix offers a variety of dining experiences to visitors, which has earned it the top honors in the 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards. The island has been termed to be a food lover’s paradise.
The 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards has also recognized the USVIs as the Yachting Destination of the Year. Islands, including St. Thomas, St. John, Water Island, and Buck Island, are known for providing a great experience to yacht lovers and are known as the luxury yachting destinations in the Caribbean. These islands also offer beautiful surroundings that attract a lot of visitors to these islands.
With the reopening of the Frenchman’s Reef resort complex, USVIs also secured the title of Event Destination of the Year in the 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards. Besides, Chef David ‘Benji’ Benjamin, owner of St. Thomas’ renowned restaurants Blue Eleven and Indigo 4, has been named the Chef of the Year from the Caribbean by the 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards.
The mention of USVIs at the top in the four categories of the 2025 Caribbean Travel Awards is all set to further enhance the appeal of USVIs amongst tourists who travel across the world to gain new experiences.
