Bangladesh Cricket Team outclassed the West Indies to win the 2nd CG United T20 series with a match to spare.

The Bangladesh team defeated West Indies by 27 runs on Wednesday, sealing the series with a remarkable lead of 2-0.

The match began with West Indies winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. The tigers began their innings on a shaky note as they lost their two wickets inside the power-play having accumulated 11 runs.

After the early departure of Bangladesh batters, Shamin Hossain turned out to be a saviour for the team as he contributed 35 runs in 17 deliveries, hitting 2 sixes and 2 fours. He was well supported by Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Jaker Ali who scored 26 and 21 runs respectively, helping the team to reach a moderate total of 129-7.

When West Indies came to bat, they lost several wickets in the starting as Bangladesh bowlers kept soaring with the ball. The Captain of the Bangladesh team wisely used the combination of spin-pacer on an animated pitch of Arnos Vale Sports Complex of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The star Windies players failed to create any major impact with their batting, as Brandon King scored only 8 runs in 5 balls. Meanwhile, Johnson Charles contributed 14 runs in 12 deliveries. Both Andre Fletcher and Romario Shepherd were departed for a duck while Captain, Rovman Powell got caught out for only 6 runs.

Akeal Hosein tried to shift the momentum on their side but he failed to receive support from any other player, concluding West Indies innings at 102 runs with all wickets down in just 18.3 overs.

Following the game, Shamim Hossain was awarded the Player of the Match for his exceptional batting performance. He aimed at continuing to make efforts in order to play a crucial role for his team and finishing the game on a winning note.

It has been a great series win for Bangladesh after losing the ODI series by 3-0 from West Indies. However, one more game is left to be played between West Indies and Bangladesh, scheduled to take place on Friday at Arnos Vale Sports Complex of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
