Trinidad and Tobago: The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited recently announced that the German based Condor Airlines is all set to resume nonstop flights between Germany to Tobago ahead of the 2024 winter season, which usually remains busy with a surge in tourists.
According to the information, the flights have already begun and will continue until April 21, 2025. The agency further announced that every Tuesday, Condor Airlines will be providing services from Frankfurt International Airport, Germany to the ANR International Airport via Barbados.
Director of Marketing and Communications of Tobago Tourism Agency Limited Jason Antoine said that the unique and historical relationship of the island with the German diaspora combined with the airline’s continued commitment to working along with the destination has produced a strong foundation which has supported the island’s mandate to attract more visitors to Tobago.
Antoine noted that he is expecting visitors not just from Germany but also from the Austrian as well as Swiss markets. He added that the return of this flight will enhance the island’s connectivity for the upcoming winter tourism season as they look forward to a successful season.
The resumption of these flights to the small island of Caribbean will be beneficial for the overall economy and will also ease travellers seeking to travel between Germany and Tobago.
Notably, the fares for this weekly flight will begin from as low as $249, allowing travellers with affordable flight options to the small island nation.
The direct flight will on Tuesdays will be 9 hour long and will depart from Frankfurt at 11 55 am and will arrive in Tobago at 4 40 pm in Tobago.
Meanwhile, the Tobago Tourism Agency is also looking forward to catering to the number of visitors that would be arriving during the upcoming months for vacation with friends, family members or partner.
They have already planned a number of tour excursions which the visitors can choose according to their preferences and can get a taste of everything local.
