The Grenada Senior Men National Team is set to begin their 2024 Concacaf Nations League. The players and the league matches have already been announced. The players will be showing their great skills and exceptional sportsmanship as set to play on their home soil at Kirani James Stadium against St Martin and St Lucia.
The team coach, Shalrie Joseph, will attend the camp on Sunday. This time, after last year’s demotion, the Grenada Senior Men National Team aims to reclaim its spot in League n. On September 6, the campaign will begin with Grenada facing Saint Martin. They will continue to play another match on September 9, with Grenada facing St. Lucia.
The upcoming schedule is busy for Grenada, who will travel to St. Lucia for back-to-back matches against Curacao in October. In November, the final round will be held, and Grenada has to begin visiting Curacao as they will be playing play St. Lucia on November 15 and Saint Martin on November 18
Grenada’s team is determined to secure promotion, promising fans an aggressive and different style of play compared to last year. The squad’s commitment is clear, and they are eager to show they have learnt from previous year’s challenges. The squad is looking for more than victory in these early matches; they are looking for the entire season to win first in their group.
There are 16 teams in League B, which are separated into four groups; anyone who wins the league will automatically be promoted to the upper level for the 2025/2026 edition.
On Wednesday, the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League begins again. On that very day, there are three games in C; the following day, we will see teams from Leagues A and B starting their respective campaigns.
For Grenada, the Concacaf Nations League 2024/25 is a great opportunity to play where they can see the results of their hard work and prepare for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.
With a clear goal and a strong desire to succeed, the Grenada Senior Men’s National Team is prepared to offer its best, guaranteeing fans an exciting and competitive season.
