Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: Amid the rapidly intensifying and life-threatening Hurricane Beryl, the Caribbean Airline cancelled several of its flights and have also re-timed international flights for Monday, July 1, 2024.
The company has been constantly contacting the affected passengers who booked international services and are being rebooked for the recovery flights.
Sharing the new departure times for the following services the airlines took to their Facebook account and updated the passengers about the time to be followed.
The Caribbean Airlines also shared that the passengers who were to travel on July 1, and whose travel plans have been impacted due to the disruptions in flights may rebook the flights without the change fees being applicable to them.
However, the Caribbean Airlines also shared certain conditions that must be followed:
- Passengers will receive a waiver on all fees for rebooking the tickets in a similar cabin.
- Passengers can rebook themselves for any service available up to July 28, 2024. And no penalty will be applicable to them.
- The airline also shared that all the changes must be done through Caribbean Airlines Call Centre or at a Caribbean Airlines Ticket Office.
4. Further, Caribbean Airlines will not be responsible for any transportation to and from an alternate airport or hotel. Also, the overnight expenses incurred by any affected passengers will not be compensated.
Also, a Tropical Storm warning for the island of Trinidad. Has been issued by the government of Trinidad and Tobago, that is constantly monitoring the Hurricane.
The Hurricane Beryl is now transformed into a category 4, due to which the airports have been closed and also the winners of the T20 International Cricket World Cup, Team India is stranded in the island of Barbados.
Barbados, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadine Islands, Grenada, and Tobago are under Hurricane warnings.
